Senior Students in Miss Linda Sabbage’s room created,

without exception, the finest collection of art work that has been

produced by a class at Ngaruawahia High.

All students achieved above 90% in their National

Assessment.

Their skills led to the school art students being commissioned

to paint murals for the ceiling of the sleeping quarters at

Turangawaewae Marae (see the 1999 record).
