midfielder), Greg Nicolle (Raglan, defender) and Wayne
Funnell (Rotorua, defender).
The Ngaruawahia Club Awards recognized Andrew
Pratt for the Most Improved Trophy, Andre MacDonald as
Squad Member of the Year, Reuben Barns & Regan
MacDonald as Sportspersons of the Year and Regan
MacDonald as Player of the Year. Amongst the minor awards
Reuben Barnes was presented with the 1992 Super Wally
Award!
Fellow NHS Staff member Doug Marsh (Manager of the
Ngaruawahia Premier Team) gave the boys every
encouragement throughout the season, once having the
opportunity to play against the team and nearly scoring, only to
have his 20-meter shot parried around the post by fellow staff-
member Sandy MacDonald in the opposition goal!
