                                                  for Nga.

Recently, a group of ex school pupils
decided they wished to form a hockey team,
and with the help of their parents, interested
enough to support them, these girls are now
                                  in training.
The challenge has been thrown out, and
even the fact that to fit out a player for a
game, the cost is considerable, the team are
                                  keen and determined.

Already $80 has been paid as an entry
fee to the Waikato Hocket Association, and a
                                  coach has been obtained.

Uniforms are the next expense but these
girls are full of enthusiasm for their venture,
and with the extra backing from their
parents, the Ngaruawahia Old Girls Hockey
Team could be a force to be reckoned with
by the time the season is in full swing.
