                          The second round of women's hockey got under way at
                          Innes  Common  on  Saturday  with  two  local  teams,
                          Ngaruawahia  Old  Girls  “A”  and  Ngaruawahia  High
                          School “A” meeting for the second time in two weeks.
                                The Old Girls’   team endorsed their first round win
                          by playing a competitive but highly spirited game which
                          resulted  in  a  score  of  6-1.  The  Old  Girls’   goals  were
                          netted by M.  Jeram,  K.  Plummer,  J.  Stirling  and S.
                          Kearney.
                                The Old Girls “B” team played a very hard game to
                          be narrowly beaten by Glenview 2-1. K. Turton scored
                          the team’s goal.
