KIMIORA ARTS FESTIVAL 2006
Annually the school takes part in the Kimiora Arts Festival to be either
hostesses or models. An army of 10 students arrive at Kimiora ready for the
multitasking.
The evening’s hosts were Waaka Graham & Whaea Te Ataarangi Poutapu
and to assist with the opening of the evening was Jordan Tukere, Tahi Don
and Jordan Grace where Jordan T blew the Putatara and the other two were
his warriors.
Four of the girls were asked to be models for two wearable arts designers
who were Shardae, Reremoana, Navarna and Te Uranga so the rest of them
were all steamed up to be the evening’s hostesses.
Just before they were to begin their jobs the rest of the team (Tahi Don,
Demi Johnson, Dayna Maru, Jordan Grace, Mariana Rangihuna and
Harmony Te Huia) were asked to model the Korowai so out the door went
the title “Hostess” and in with the new title “MODEL”.
