The year started with a roll of 175 and the Annual Interschool Winter Sports Day with
following staff: Mr B Seaton (Principal), Mrs M
Bogie (Deputy Principal), Mrs J Stanwick (STJC), Kimihia fielding netball and rugby teams.
Mr Gregory, Miss de Lacey (appointed to a September
permanent vacancy), Miss Chambers and Miss K Advice received that a school flat is to be built
Johnston (Year 1). for Kimihia. A housing application committee has
been set up to handle all applications for tenancy
The Principal attended a liason committee with of all school flats in Huntly. This committee
the Power Project. The housing development will comprised the Principals of Huntly Primary,
have a great effect on the school roll. Huntly West, Kimihia and Rakaumanga. It was
decided to allocate one flat to each school.
