Waka Ama Nationals 2011

From the 29th of March until the 1st of April  J-19 Men won Silver Medals in both the W-6
the school sent five Waka Ama teams to the New 250 and 500 meters Championship Division.
Zealand Secondary School Championships at Lake  J-19 Women won Silver in the W-6 250 meters
Tikitapu in Rotorua. Championship Division.
After four days of intense competition the
team brought home five medals. The next two days were made up of heats
 Gold was won on the first day by the J-19s and semi-final races and all of our crews made it to
crew in the W-12 (Double Hull) Championship the Championship division for at least one of the
Division. two distances (250m & 500m).
 Kingsley Smith won a Bronze Medal in the W- The J-16 Women came third in the Plate
1 category—Championship Division. Division for the W-6 250 meters.
